Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager
3nine is a
Swedish company working with oil mist separation products & services
designed to eliminate oil mist and provide clean air in the metal working
industry. We are headquartered in Nacka Strand, Stockholm. Our primary markets
are in Europe and North America with our team members spanning operations in
Sweden, France, Germany, and the US with a network of global dealers and
service partners supporting our products and customers in over 50 global
markets.
About
You
To be
successful in this role you will be a person with at least five years’
experience working within various roles and positions across the sourcing,
procurement, and supply chain function. You have experience both at a strategic
and operational level and are equally interested to work on strategic
development as the getting into the details of the day to day. You are highly
ambitious and goal-oriented person and pride yourself on getting things done.
You are detail oriented and take a structured approach to your work. You are
highly curious and enjoy finding creative ways to solve complex challenges. You
are self-motivated, structured and can work independently but are also a
committed team player able to work across the organization to developing and
improving the supply chain. You are a strong communicator in both English and
Swedish and have demonstrable experience working in a global context.
Your
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for all sourcing related activities within 3nine
- Develop an overall vendor base which creates and sustains a competitive advantage
- Develop and implement commodity and negotiation strategies
- Continuously review and update the Purchasing Terms and Conditions
- Negotiate and execute purchase or supplier contracts as needed to support the critical business needs
- Together with the 3nine management team decide on supplier selection and deselection
- Evaluation and rationalization of Supply chain solutions including supplier consignment stocks, safety stock levels, etc.
- Ensure that performance improvement, contingency and recovery plans are developed, implemented, monitored and reported as required for an efficient management and improvement of the supplier base
- Ensure that the sourcing and purchasing processes are implemented and efficient as per the business needs and in alignment with the product development and manufacturing processes
- Manage the overall supplier relationships
- Together with the
management team develop a robust supply chain strategy to support our regional
business units to achieve business growth and enhance profitability
Your Qualification
- Academic degree in engineering, business or economics
- Minimum five years of work experience working in sourcing/procurement and/or supply chain capacity
- Experience from working in a global environment
- Business oriented and customer focused with a strong financial acumen
- Strong informal leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive and with a strong drive to improve
- Team player in a multi-cultural environment
- Experience in project management
- Fluent in Swedish and English. Knowledge in in other languages is a benefit
The position is located at 3nine’s
headquarters located in Nacka Strand.
